Strategic games in which you command troops or heroes in combat where you take turns with your opponent. Examples: StarCraft 2, Supreme Commander. Most common on PC, RTS games see you fight battles in real time, commanding units from an overhead view and sometimes constructing bases. Examples: Skyrim, Divinity: Original Sin 2, The Outer Worlds. Games in which you develop a character within a world, usually while completing quests, levelling up and gaining abilities. That way if you ever run into an acronym during matches or in a stream chat that you don’t understand, you can quickly drop back here to remind yourself of what it means.
